Front Line Mission Positions Available in Australia

Hi there,

I am desperate to find some passionate, mission-minded, sold-out to Jesus, salvos to fill some positions in a new mission venture. These are paid ministry positions.

We have a large community centre and many ministries among many age groups and are also planting a church in a very poor and marginalised community in western Sydney. At the moment I have about 20 staff - none of whom are salvos (although a few are saved and belong to other churches - and others are getting saved), but not a single volunteer or lay person or salvo. I am essentially the ministry team. Lots of people love the work happening here and the transformation being seen, and I'm invited everywhere to speak about it, but like many other broken communities people don't feel that they can join us - think they're not skilled enough, or too uncomfortable, or too risky, or too confronting - Macquarie Fields finds its way into the too hard basket - even for salvos despite the fact that this is the kind of work we were born in!!

We have been advertising in Australian Army Circles and more widely for 3 months to fill 2 full time paid positions and haven't had a single salvo applicant, with only a couple of interdenominational applicants.

We are desperate to reach our community and desperate for mission hearted people to join us on the journey.
